I was a real-estate broker for 16 years where I specialized in Greenwich Village
Townhouses and Luxury Property Sales as a senior vice president at Eychner
Associates.
My career in knitting and designing with yarn struck me full force two years ago.
Inspired by the luminous colors and textures of the unique hand-painted yarns I work
with. Each design has its own creative process and architecture. I drape the patterns
first, in cotton jersey so I can play with proportions and silhouette. I then sew the cotton
jersey so that it can be tried on for fit. Then, I convert the measurements to yarn; and
knit and sew. Each design takes six to eight weeks to complete. There are wonderful
surprises, energy and passion in the creation of wearable art.
For custom orders a deposit must be made prior to beginning the design process, and
payment must be made in full before the ordering of yarn and knitting begins.
Prices and estimates listed on this site do not include taxes and shipping costs
which will be added to your cost. Pricing for new projects will be based on the
scope of the work. You will receive an estimate to approve before we begin.
Payment can be direct or via paypal.
